KULIDASH’S ONLINE PRIVACY POLICY AGREEMENT

This Privacy Policy (referred to as “the Policy”) is applicable to users of Kulidash’s website and mobile applications. The Policy outlines the obligations & requirements of the users of Kulidash website and applications, referred as the Service. It also describes the way this website processes, stores and protects user data and information.

Article 1 - Your Privacy Rights

This Privacy Policy describes your privacy rights regarding kulidash's collection, use, storage, sharing and protection of your personal information. It applies to kulidash's website and all database applications, services, tools, and physical contact with us regardless of how you access or use them.When you register, we ask for your real name, living address, email address, phone number and password. Some of this information is mandatory to register and will be verified. We may also retain any messages you send through the Service and may collect the information you provide in User Content you post to the Service. We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide you with the features and functionality of the Service.

Your right as a user of kulidash's platforms are:

  1. We shall let you know whenever data concerning you are being processed on our platform.
  2. When personal data about you are inaccurate, you may request that data be corrected.
  3. You have a right to request that your data be erased or forgotten.
  4. You may also request that your data be limited to a specific aspect of the Service as may be stated by you.
  5. You may object to the way or manner in which your data is used.

In addition to the above, Kulidash guarantees the privacy and confidentiality of your information it collects through its website and other platforms in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, Nigeria Data Protection Regulation and other applicable laws and conventions.

Article 2 - Consent

You are deemed to accept or have accepted this Privacy Policy when you give consent upon access to Kuliiport's platforms, or use of the Services. This Policy governs the use of kulidash services by users. kulidash may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised version on its website. The revised version will be effective 7-days after publication.

Article 3 - Your Personal Information

When you register on Kulidash, we ask for your real name, physical address, email address, phone number and password. Some of this information is mandatory to register and will be verified. We may also retain any messages you send through the Service and may collect information you provide in User Content you post to the Service. We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Service.We may also use information provided by third parties like social media sites. Information about you provided by other sites is not controlled by Kulidash and we are therefore not liable for how they use it.

Article 4 - What we do with your personal information

The purpose of our collecting your personal information is to give you efficient, enjoyable and secure service. The information provided by you are used to:

  1. Provide Kulidash services and support.
  2. Process applications and send notices about your transactions to requisite parties;
  3. Verify your identity;
  4. Troubleshoot problems.
  5. Manage risk, or to detect, prevent, and/or remediate fraud or other potentially prohibited or illegal activities.
  6. Detect, prevent or remediate violation of Laws, Regulations, Standards, Guidelines and Frameworks.
  7. Improve Kulidash Services by implementing aggregate customer or user preferences.
  8. Measure the performance of the Kulidash Services and improve content, technology and layout.
  9. Track information breach and remediate such identified breaches.
  10. Manage and protect kulidash's technology and physical infrastructure.
  11. Contact you at any time through your provided telephone number, email address or other contact details.

Article 5 - Cookies

When you visit kulidash, we store cookies - a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters - on your computer, to uniquely identify your browser and allows kulidash to log in faster, and remember some of your preferences, such as the language you use. A cookie may also convey information to us about how you use the Service (e.g., the pages you view, the links you click and other actions you take on the Service) and allow us or our business partners to track your usage of the Service over time. You can configure your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Article 6 - How we protect your personal information

We store and process your personal information on our computers in Nigeria. Where a need to transfer your data to another country arises, such country must have an adequate data protection law. Kulidash will seek your consent where we need to send your data to a country without an adequate data protection law. We protect your information using physical, technical, and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration. Some of the safeguards we use are firewalls and data encryption, physical access controls to our data centers, and information access authorization controls.

Article 7 - How we share your information

When you use Kulidash platforms, we will not sell, assign, lend or otherwise transfer your information to third parties outside Kulidash without your consent, save as noted below:

  1. Who we may share your information with: We may share your information with third-party business partners and Trusted Users for the purpose of providing the Service to you. Third-party business partners will be given limited access to your information as is reasonably necessary to deliver the Service, and we will require that such third parties comply with this Privacy Policy or operate under a similar privacy policy.
  2. Who can see User Content Any User Content that you voluntarily disclose for posting to the Service becomes available to the public and cannot be removed, except by Kulidash in its sole discretion. Once posted on Kulidash, User Content may not be removable from public view, as copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Service, on other sites that have republished us, or if other Users have copied or saved that information.
  3. Who can see your IP address A selection of Trusted Users with administrative powers have the ability to review IP addresses of users to reduce abusive behavior.
  4. Who can see your email address To enable communication between users on Kulidash, we share your e-mail address. If you reply to users who contact you through contact form, your email address will be shared with these users.

Article 8 - Log file information

Log file information is automatically reported by your browser or mobile device each time you access the Service. When you use our Service, our servers automatically record certain log file information.These server logs usually include anonymous information such as your web request, IP address, browser type, referring / exit pages, User-Agent, URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the Service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, etc.

Article 9 - Location data

When you access Kulidash, we can ask you to collect, monitor and/or remotely store your “location data,” which includes GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) or similar information regarding the location of your mobile device (such as your country, province or district area).Some features of the Service, particularly location-based services, may not function properly if the use or availability of location data is impaired or disabled.

Article 10 - Security

Kulidash will always hold your information securely. To prevent unauthorized access to your information, we have implemented strong controls and security safeguards at the technical and operational levels. This site uses Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) to ensure secure transmission of your personal data. You should see the padlock symbol in your URL address bar once you are successfully logged into the platform. The URL address will also start with https:// depicting a secure webpage. SSL applies encryption between two points such as your PC and the connecting server. Any data transmitted during the session will be encrypted before transmission and decrypted at the receiving end. This is to ensure that data cannot be read during transmission.

Article 11 - Data Confidentiality Rights

Kulidash regards your information as confidential and will not be divulged to any third party except under legal and/or regulatory conditions. You have the right to request sight of, and copies of any and all information we keep on you if such requests are made in compliance with relevant enactments. While Kulidash is responsible for safeguarding the information entrusted to us, your role in fulfilling confidentiality duties includes, but is not limited to, adopting and enforcing appropriate security measures such as non-sharing of passwords, Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) or such other personal details and other platforms login details.

However, Kulidash will disclose your information where required to do so by law or upon service of a valid Court order, or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to:

  1. comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement.
  2. to enforce our Terms of Use or to protect the security, quality or integrity of our Service; and/or
  3. to exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Kulidash, our Users, or others

Article 12 - Links to Other Websites and Premises

We give you the option to interact with Kulidash through third-party services to log-in, “Like” or “Share” information. When you interact with Kulidash through a third party, we will receive information about you from this third party. This information typically includes the user ID associated with your account, an access token to authenticate you through the service, information that you have made public on the third-party platform and information that you have permitted the third party to share with us or such other information.You have a duty to review, and if necessary, adjust your privacy settings on third-party websites before linking or connecting them to Kulidash. You may also unlink your third-party account from Kulidash by adjusting your settings on the third-party service.Kindly note, however, that Kulidash is not responsible for and has no control whatsoever over websites outsides its domain. Kulidash will therefore not accept responsibility for any loss or damage in whatever manner, howsoever caused, resulting from your disclosure to third parties of personal information.

Article 13 - Data Deletion Request

If you want your personal data - including your account, accesses and all personal information related to you - removed permanently from Kulidash, please send us an email to [email protected] the subject, “Data Deletion Request”. We will perform the Data Deletion within 120 hours.

Article 14 - Commercial and marketing communications

We use the information we collect or receive, such as your email address, to communicate directly with you. We may send you e-mails containing newsletters, promotions, and special offers.If you do not want to receive such email messages, you will be given the option to opt out or change your preferences. We also use your information to send you Service-related emails (e.g., account verification, purchase and billing confirmations and reminders, changes/updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices). You may not opt out of Service-related emails as they are fully part of the Service.

Article 15 - What happens in the event of a change of control of Kulidash

Kulidash may buy, sell, divest, or transfer the company (including any shares in the company), or any combination of its products, services, assets and/or businesses. Your information such as customer names and email addresses, User Content and other user information related to the Service may be among the items sold or otherwise transferred in these types of transactions. Kulidash may also sell, assign or otherwise transfer such information in the course of corporate divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies, dissolutions, reorganizations, liquidations, similar transactions or proceedings involving all or a portion of the company.

Article 16 - Changes to Privacy Policy

We review this Privacy Policy regularly. Kulidash reserves the right to make changes at any time on account of changes in our business and legal requirements. This review shall be duly placed on Kulidash platforms.

Article 18 - Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is made pursuant to the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023, Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (2019) and other relevant Nigerian laws, regulations or international conventions applicable to Nigeria. Where any provision of this Policy is deemed inconsistent with a law, regulation or convention, such provision shall be subject to the overriding law, regulation or convention.The Nigerian Data Protection Act, Nigeria Data Protection Regulations and other applicable laws shall govern the terms of this Policy.
